Boca Raton… Delray Beach … Boynton Beach … South Palm Beach County.

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Those disgusting dog owners are at it again in South Palm Beach County, and after taking a week off, our Boca Rudeton section is alive and well with stories to tell. Stories of gross alleged liars in malls, in supermarkets, in restaurants, and other places where no one wants seemingly fake service animals anywhere near them.

We start this week at the always gross Boca Raton Town Center Mall — a Simon Property Group property (NYSE:SPG). That’s where we find these lovely people with what is likely an Amazon-purchased “service dog” vest. How do we know it’s not a real service animal? We, of course, don’t, but we’re pretty good at reading clues. Here are two: Service dogs don’t normally get pushed around in a baby stroller. That defeats the purpose. Then there’s the “putting the dog on public furniture” part of the image. Again, real service dogs — and real service dog owners — don’t tend to do this sort of thing.

Now to Joseph’s Italian Market, where the supermarket continues to have a problem with selfish people who apparently beleive it’s okay to bring a dog into a market. It’s not. We don’t know why Joseph’s in Delray Beach and Boca Raton never seems to do anything about this, but we do know that customers can #BoycottJosephs if they don’t want fresh food mixed with a dose of doggie.

Now let’s hit the roads of Boca Raton where we thank our tipster for sending this photo. Yes, it’s a very manly man driving with a dog on his lap. Guess what’s illegal? Driving with pretty much anything on your lap. We sadly don’t have this guy’s license plate but if you are out and about and see anything like this, please safely snap a pic and let us know. If you can get a tag, we’ll share it so everyone knows to stay away from these unsafe drivers.

Now let’s go to Publix at Clint Moore and U.S. 441 in West Boca Raton. Despite huge signs telling people that dogs are banned, we have this woman with a leash that says “service dog.” And if God knows anything, it’s that putting a leash on a fluffy dog that looks like a rat with a lot of hair makes it a legitimate “service dog.” It doesn’t, and we bet that this one isn’t. Lady: seriously?

Here’s another image from another area Publix — this one at Via Delray. Apparently there are lots of people who can’t read. We didn’t realize that pet-owner literacy was such a problem in South Palm Beach County. Since we all know that Reading Is Fundamental, let’s all see if we can make out these words together:

Yes, we’re working hard to sound out these big words, but we think it sounds something like: “YOU MAY NOT BRING YOUR F’ING DOGS INTO PUBLIX.” We may be wrong — we find complex sentences like “no pets allowed” to be difficult, but we’re pretty sure of the intent of those super big words.

While we’re working on reading, sadly, this woman apparently isn’t. This woman with her baseball cap, AirPods, and dog was seen at the Publix at 555 NE 5th Avenue in Delray Beach. As always, maybe this dog is a highly trained service animal. Maybe she has her AirPods in so she can’t hear people questioning why she has a dog in Publix. Maybe.

Let’s move on to parking where we see this amazing parking job in South Palm Beach County. Driver of Acura RDX with Florida tag IE42PM, why would you ever park like this?

And now to this parking incompetence on Jog Road in Boynton Beach. If you drive a Nissan Altima with Florida plate KB509E, you’re — well, let’s be blunt — an idiot.
So who is our winner? It was another difficult week for our judges, but they voted for the person who truly exemplifies Boca Rudeton. It’s the jerk — yes, let’s call him what he is — it’s the jerk driving a car with a dog on his lap. Sure, we see people do it all the time, but that doesn’t make it right nor does it make it legal. We would love it if someone were to share his identification with us so we can share with him our very special trophy:

We remind our readers that there is no expectation of privacy in a public place. Don’t want to be seen here? Don’t be rude here! Send your submissions to us using the menu buttons above. Share your thoughts about this week’s nominees in our comment section below. Boca Rudeton™ is a trademark of MetroDesk Media, LLC. Rude people, bad drivers and really bad parkers are all a trademark of South Palm Beach County.

Not to mention the couple at the Publix Clintmore and 441 pic with the rag doll sampling grapes.
You Can’t make these things up.-
Grapes are toxic for dogs, they will damage the dog’s kidneys. That person either does not care about their dog, or is completely ignorant of a proper diet for their dog.

I’m starting to really look at the bright side about all these people bringing their pets with “service dog” vests into supermarkets.
Forget the dogs!
I see if this as great visual proof of who the “Sociopaths That Live Among Us” are. -
Until and unless managers step up or the police get involved by issuing violation so tickets this will not end it will
Only get worse People in this area think they are above the laws-
I have done just, spoken to the Publix store manager who told me he could nothing and the police. The police said they had no time. They had REAL crime (Delray Beach- San Marco) to take care of!
I am a dog owner and we consider our animal a family member however she is a DOG not a human being. These over entitled selfish people need to wake up and learn about decency and disrespect. So much for law enforcement!

DON’T YOU PEOPLE HAVE ANYTHING BETTER
TO DO THAN ATTACK PEOPLE WHO LOVE THEIR DOGS?! FRANKLY, YOU PEOPLE DISGUST ME AS YOU ARE DOG HATERS. I BELIEVE YOUR ACTIONS ARE COMMUNISTIC… SPYING ON PEOPLE AND POSTING THEIR INNOCENT PICTURES FOR ALL TO SEE. SOME HOW, I BELIEVE THAT YOU SHOULD BE SUED IN A COURT OF LAW FOR PUBLIC SHAMING WITHOUT CONSENT! SHAMEFUL-
I am guessing you are one of those people that take their dogs into supermarkets. It has nothing to hating dogs. ITS ILLEGAL!

Agree Greg! I love dogs and bring my dog everywhere – that ALLOWS dogs. I even call ahead to the manager at restaurants to see if they allow them on the outside patio because I think it’s rude and disrespectful to other diners who don’t want to eat by dogs.
People need to take some accountability and stop this nonsense and entitlement! It’s egregious.

This Sunday morning there was a kid’s triathlon at the Blum Family YMCA. Somehow at least half a dozen people thought it would be a good idea to have dogs on leashes in a crowd of 200 children on bikes. No way this was safe for the dogs or the kids. I love my dog too, but people need to use their heads.

Based on the shopping center with the Dairy Queen seen in the background, Lapdog man appears to be at Southwest 10th Avenue and Linton Boulevard in Delray Beach. I don’t know what’s worse, a dog on somebody’s lap while driving, or driving at dangerously slow speeds on while a dog is perched out of the window.
