A “wealth manager” was arrested in Boca Raton following an incident with a Maserati and mango margaritas.

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Highland Beach resident Kelly Ann Boyle, 41, was arrested early Saturday morning in Boca Raton after police found her unconscious behind the wheel of her blue Maserati. Police say the Maserati was still running and in gear when an officer approached and found Boyle “in actual control” of the vehicle near 100 West Palmetto Park Road just after midnight.

According to the arrest report obtained by BocaNewsNow.com, the arresting officer documented that Boyle, a wealth manager wearing a “sparkly top,” woke up after the officer knocked on the window and appeared lost and confused. After eventually shifting the car into park and opening her window, she told the officer she was celebrating her birthday with friends at a restaurant and had “a few drinks.” The officer observed that Boyle’s eyes were bloodshot and glassy, her speech was slurred, and detected the scent of an alcoholic beverage. The officer, having reason to believe Boyle was impaired, asked her to perform Field Sobriety Exercises (FSEs), which she refused, reportedly becoming “irate” and demanding to go home.

When officers attempted to place Boyle under arrest for Driving Under the Influence (DUI), she allegedly tensed her arms and pulled them away, leading to an additional charge of Resisting/Obstructing an Officer Without Violence. She was transported to the BRPD booking facility for a breath test. After being read the Implied Consent warning, Boyle ultimately submitted to the test. The results of the breath samples were recorded as 0.109 and 0.108, both exceeding the legal limit of 0.08. Boyle informed the police she had been drinking Mango Margaritas and Wine, starting her first drink around 7:30 p.m.
