The City of Boca Raton tree lighting is set for this weekend.

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Boca Raton is set to kick off the holiday season with its first major celebration of the year: the annual Holiday Tree Lighting at Mizner Park Amphitheater. The family-friendly event is scheduled for Saturday, November 22nd, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., and city officials say it will offer something for everyone — from live entertainment to festive photo ops.

The evening begins at 6 p.m. with a full slate of holiday activities. Families can expect live music, falling snow flurries, craft stations, roaming costumed characters, and plenty of opportunities for selfies with Santa. A holiday market will be open throughout the night, offering seasonal gifts and treats, while food and drinks will be available for purchase around the amphitheater.

The main moment arrives at 7:30 p.m., when Mayor Scott Singer steps onto the amphitheater stage to lead the ceremonial lighting of the city’s holiday tree. As the tree comes to life, Mizner Park will transform into a glowing winter experience, with 50,000 LED lights illuminating 75 palm trees lining the park. The city is also introducing a new feature this year: a large LED screen near the “Pink Tree” by Yard House, offering a live-streamed view of the tree lighting and stage performances.

Holiday music will fill the air throughout the night. The vocal group Kazual performs from 6:15 to 7:20 p.m., followed by two high-energy sets of “A Very Diva Christmas” from 8 to 8:45 p.m. and 8:55 to 9:40 p.m. City leaders say the event is designed to bring the community together and officially launch Boca Raton’s season of celebrations.
