BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A teenager is dead after what police are calling a “confrontation” that led a hit-and-run crash. Boca Raton Police issued this statement Monday afternoon:
“The Boca Raton Police Services Department’s Traffic Homicide Unit is investigating a fatal accident which occurred along the 1300 block of SW 14th Avenue on November 30, 2025, just before 2:30 a.m. The driver of a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado was stopped on the roadway with two passengers in the vehicle.
There was a confrontation and the victim, known to the driver, approached the Chevrolet on foot to engage the occupants of the vehicle. At some point, the Chevrolet drove off while the victim was still in close proximity to the vehicle. The driver struck the victim as the vehicle drove off, causing life-threatening injuries. The driver did not stop and proceeded to leave the area.
A traffic stop was conducted on the Chevrolet a short time later, and the driver was detained for questioning. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
