James Griffin is missing from Boca Raton. He is the subject of a statewide search in Florida.

UPDATE 6 p.m. — Mr. Griffin was just located, according to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A Florida Silver Alert has been issued for a 75-year-old man missing from Boca Raton since December 1, 2025. Law enforcement officials are asking for the public’s assistance in locating James Griffin, as part of the alert issued for missing adults.

According to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, Griffin was last seen in the area of the 22600 block of Southwest 54th Avenue in Boca Raton. He is described as a white male standing 6’02” tall and weighing approximately 200 pounds. Griffin has blonde hair and blue eyes and was last seen wearing a blue shirt and blue jeans.

Investigators believe Griffin may be traveling in a black 2016 Mercedes-Benz SL 400 convertible featuring Florida license plate RWMQ03. Authorities noted that he might be traveling northbound on State Road 7 in the area of Tamarac, Florida.
