DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Delray Beach resident Scott Porten is facing multiple charges of child pornography possession following his arrest Thurdsay evening by the Delray Beach Police Department who apparently took him into custody at Palm Beach International Airport.
BocaNewsNow.com obtained warrant and booking information for Porten, 63, following his arrest at PBI. It’s unclear if the airport arrest is coincidental or a factor in the case. The affidavit of probable cause continues to be processed Friday afternoon.
Porten is charged with nine counts of possessing child pornography. It was not immediately clear how long he had been under investigation, where police allegedly found the material, or how they were led to the possibility that Porten was committing a crime.
Porten was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail late Thursday night and remains held without bond Friday afternoon.
