BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Bowl season officially returns to Boca Raton this month with a packed schedule of festivities culminating in the 2025 Bush’s Boca Raton Bowl of Beans. The University of Louisville will take on the University of Toledo on Tuesday, Dec. 23, in what is being billed as the city’s largest annual outdoor party.
The celebration kicks off on Monday, Dec. 22, with a joint team pep rally at the Mizner Park Amphitheater. Running from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., the free public event will feature bands, dancers, and cheerleaders from both universities. Fans traveling to the rally can take advantage of free parking at several locations, including Mizner Park, City Hall, and the Downtown Public Library, or use the city’s on-demand shuttle service, BocaConnect.
On game day, Tuesday, Dec. 23, the excitement moves to Flagler Credit Union Stadium at FAU. While kickoff is scheduled for 2 p.m., early birds can enjoy the Fan Fest and Family Midway just outside the stadium from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.. This interactive area includes live music, food, and a dedicated kid zone. Fans can even welcome the teams, bands, and spirit squads as they arrive through the Fan Fest area.
Stadium gates open at 12 p.m., with parking lots opening at 9 a.m. for $20 (cash only). In a unique promotion, the first 2,000 fans who bring a can of Bush’s Beans to the stadium will receive a complimentary ticket. Those unable to attend in person can catch the action live on ESPN or listen locally on ESPN 106.3.
Locals should be prepared for significant traffic disruptions on Dec. 23. 20th Street will be closed entirely, and heavy delays are expected near Glades Road and Spanish River Blvd. Police and fire services also remind attendees to keep their vehicles locked and personal items out of sight, as break-ins can happen in seconds.
