The owners of a defunct Boca Raton kebab restaurant are in a heated legal battle.

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A legal battle has erupted over the remnants of a Boca Raton kebab restaurant as its owners find themselves in a “complete and irreconcilable deadlock” following the sale of the business. Erin Lynch and Oliver Yasin Freuen, who manage half of True Eats LLC through their firm YEF LLC, filed a petition for judicial dissolution in Palm Beach County Circuit Court on December 16, 2025. The restaurant was known as Keb-Up in Royal Palm Place, according to Florida records.

The trouble surfaced shortly after the company finalized an asset purchase agreement on October 31, 2025, which effectively sold off the operating assets of the Boca Raton restaurant location. Since that sale, the business has held approximately $80,000 in retained funds. However, according to the petition, those funds have remained frozen because the owners cannot agree on whether to reinvest the money, dissolve the company, or distribute the remaining cash.

According to the court documents, the dispute is centered on a breakdown in communication with the other 50 percent owners, The Whitesz LLC, and its members, Anika and Manuel Weiss. Lynch and Freuen allege that the Respondents have failed to attend meetings or participate in running the company. The petition alleges that while Manuel Weiss reportedly signed dissolution papers, Anika Weiss allegedly refused to do so, leaving the company legally paralyzed.

The Petitioners are now asking a judge to step in. They argue that because the company’s operating agreement requires unanimous consent for major actions, the current impasse makes it impossible to continue business activities. The petition also notes that the Respondents have said they are outside the United States, adding another layer of difficulty to resolving the matter without court intervention.
