Major flight issues are plaguing travelers in South Florida on Saturday, December 27, 2025.

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Good luck flying today. Storms in the northeast are leading to major travel disruptions nationwide, including Fort Lauderdale Hollywood International, Palm Beach International, and Miami International airports.

According to flight tracker FlightAware.com: at FLL, 66 flights have been canceled as of midday, with 296 delays already on the books. JetBlue, Southwest, Spirit, and Delta are the hardest hit, with United, Air Canada, and American also reporting troubled flight schedules.

At PBI, 79 flights are already showing “delayed” status today, with 19 flights canceled. JetBlue, Delta, Southwest, and United lead the pack at PBI, with American, Frontier, and Spirit also on the list.

At Miami International Airport, 240 flights are showing delayed status as of mid-day Saturday, with 42 flights canceled. American, Delta, Southwest, and Spirit top the list at MIA, with Frontier, Republic, Envoy (part of American), and United also having issues.
