UPDATE: Motorcyclist struck, then run over.

UPDATE 2:56 p.m. — We have learned the pedestrian was actually a motorcyclist before allegedly being struck by a tractor-trailer. Some witnesses were apparently confused by what they were seeing when they called for help. The motorcyclist was apparently struck by the truck, then run over by the truck once he was on the ground. The victim was rushed to Delray Medical Center, the area’s trauma center.

According to initial information received by BocaNewsNow.com, multiple witnesses called 911 in the moments after the incident near Yamato Road. It’s unclear what the pedestrian was doing on I-95 or where he or she was at the time of the strike.
