Palm Beach County Clerk Of Courts Mike Caruso To Hold Ceremony In Historic Courthouse.

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Palm Beach County couples looking for a historic way to say “I do” this year can participate in a free group wedding ceremony on Valentine’s Day. Mike Caruso, the Clerk of the Circuit Court & Comptroller, will officiate the event on Saturday, February 14, at 11 a.m. The ceremony is set to take place in the restored 1916 Palm Beach County Courthouse in downtown West Palm Beach, offering a nostalgic backdrop for the holiday celebration.
The event will be held in the building’s historic two-story courtroom, which features authentic recreations of original 20th-century elements, including the judge’s bench and jury box. Clerk Caruso expressed his enthusiasm for the event, noting that there is nothing more special than helping couples begin their lifelong journeys together. To enhance the atmosphere, Heaven & Earth Floral will provide floral arrangements for the venue and a complimentary rose and boutonniere for each participating couple.
Due to the intimate nature of the historic venue, registration is limited to the first 25 couples who sign up online. Each couple is permitted to bring up to four guests to witness the ceremony. Registration is currently open at the Clerk’s official website and will remain available until all slots are filled. Interested parties are encouraged to act quickly to secure their spot in the group nuptials.
While the wedding ceremony itself is free of charge, the Clerk’s office reminds participants that they are still responsible for the standard marriage license fees and requirements. Couples can find detailed information regarding license applications and costs on the Marriage Licenses & Ceremonies section of the Clerk’s website. This annual tradition continues to provide a unique, community-focused alternative for local residents celebrating their love on Valentine’s Day. Learn more and sign up here.
