There are multiple delays and cancellations at South Florida’s area airports as of 10:30 a.m. This is a major travel day as the holiday vacation season comes to an end.
FlightAware reports that 18 flights have already been cancelled at Fort Lauderdale Hollywood International Airport, with 120 delays already on the books. Delta, Spirit, JetBlue, Frontier, are among the airlines with the most problems.
At Palm Beach International Airport, 35 flights have already been delayed with four axed. Delta, Air Canada, and JetBlue lead th back with problems. JetBlue is already showing 17 delays with American logging 8. The cancellations are largely a Delta problem.
At Miami International Airport, American Airlines has already logged 68 delays and five cancellations, with Delta cancelling four flights and delaying 3. At least 134 flights are delayed at MIA with 9 not flying at all.
