PALM BEACH COUNTY, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A Palm Beach County woman is taking Walt Disney Parks and Resorts to court, alleging a “violent” fall at Disney’s Hollywood Studios left her with permanent injuries. Denise Dunn filed the lawsuit in Palm Beach County Circuit Court on December 27, 2025, claiming that an unsafe walkway at the popular theme park turned her family vacation into a painful ordeal.
According to the complaint obtained by BocaNewsNow.com, the alleged fall happened on April 28, 2022, while Dunn was visiting the park as a ticketed guest. The lawsuit specifically points to a “raised paver” along a walkway that allegedly created an uneven surface. Dunn’s attorneys argue she tripped on the brick and fell hard to the ground because the park failed to maintain safe walking conditions or warn guests about the potential hazard.
Dunn claims she suffered serious and permanent bodily injuries that have led to ongoing physical pain, mental anguish, and a “loss of capacity for the enjoyment of life”. The suit alleges that her medical expenses and disability are continuing and will likely require future care and hospitalization.
Represented by Anthony J. Russo Jr. of The Russo Firm in Delray Beach, Dunn is seeking damages in excess of the court’s minimum jurisdictional limits. The complaint demands a jury trial to determine Disney’s liability for the alleged negligence. Disney has not yet filed a formal response to the allegations in Palm Beach County court.
