DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Two people were rushed to area hospitals Saturday afternoon after the car they were in rolled over and into a canal. The incident took place around 12:30 p.m. on U.S. 441 just north of the Boca Bridges community and south of Saturnia Isles.

It is unclear what led to a rollover on a completely straight stretch of road. The male driver was pulled from the vehicle with serious injuries, according to sources connected to the rescue operation. It is believed he is in his late 40s or early 50s. Information about the second person in the vehicle was not immediately available.
Palm Beach County Fire Rescue put a dive team into the canal to ensure no other victims were in the water. It is not believed any other vehicle was involved.
Check back for updates later Saturday.
