People permeate local living with bad behavior.

Welcome to Boca Rudeton for Sunday, January 18, 2026. Remember when Boca Raton Town Center Mall was considered a nice mall?

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — We don’t know if it’s sadness, mental illness, or just a never-ending need for attention, but the people destroying South Florida living by forcing their pets (and at times horrific parking) on the general public continued over the past several days. Our tipsters shared scores of images of “Boca Rudeton” nominees. We’re sharing some of the most visual.

Joseph’s Boca Raton
Joseph’s Boca Raton.

Let’s start at Joseph’s Italian Market in Boca Raton. The market is a frequent offender when it comes to ignoring Florida statues and laws that prohibit animals in supermarkets. Of course, if the animal in question is trained service animal providing a legitimate function, it’s okay. We’re sure the animal above is just that. Yup.

Dunkin Donuts 1999 NW 2nd Avenue Boca Raton.

To Dunkin’ Donuts at 1999 NW 2nd Avenue in Boca Raton we now go, where this woman seems to be walking her dog in the restaurant. We don’t know why. Nothing says “fresh coffee and donut” better than “dog on floor.”

Boca Raton Town Center Mall.

Boca Raton Town Center Mall, once considered a nice mall, continues its downward spiral to disgusting. We don’t know why anyone would want to spend time — or money — in this Simon Property Group (NYSE:SPG) mall that is full of dog pee and poop. We don’t know why anyone thinks this is normal behavior. At least the guy cleaned up after his dog — but why is that dog in the mall to start with? This is a slip and fall lawsuit waiting to happen.

Next question: what goes through the minds of people who say, “we’re going shopping at SAKS, so let’s bring the dog.” Weird, right? Do these people really think it’s normal?

Boca Raton Town Center Mall.

How about this woman and her dog? She must be very, very important. Why else would she need to ignore the very dog that she decided to bring to the mall while she sits in a chair and looks at her phone? Again we ask: what is wrong people? The mall is not a dog park. It’s a mall.

Sephora in Boca Raton Town Center Mall.

Since we’re already in the mall, let’s ponder this: IF this dog really is a service dog, what function does it serve? Does it sniff out great makeup deals in Sephora? Does it know how to guide its human to the perfect powder? Question: if you buy a ‘service animal’ vest on Amazon, can you get a discount on makeup in Sephora?

Multiple dogs in Boca Raton Town Center Mall.

How about one more in the mall? Again, Boca Raton Town Center mall wants you to believe that it’s a luxury shopping destination. Much like the zoo is a luxury shopping destination.

Maggie McFly in Boca Raton Town Center Mall.

If you’re hungry at the mall, you may want to skip Maggie McFly’s. That’s where our tipster saw these people with their dog at the table. Have we ever mentioned that it’s illegal to have a dog in a restaurant in Florida, unless it’s a trained service animal providing a legitimate function? You know what we should do right now? Share the rules as posted by our friends a La Bamba in Delray Beach:

Now back to our program…

Sal’s Ristorante in Boca Raton.

Sal’s Ristorante in Boca Raton looks like a very nice place for the old and young. And dogs possibly masquerading as a service animal.

Whole Foods Delray Beach Parking Diagonal
Whole Foods on Linton Boulevard in Delray Beach.

Let’s head to Whole Foods on Linton Boulevard in Delray Beach. That’s where we see this unreal parking job by two cars. Is it diagonal day? That Chevy has NY plate EJZ-4090. Again, EJZ-4090. You are parked diagonally. Why?

Woodfield Plaza Boca Raton
Woodfield Plaza in Boca Raton.

And at Woodfield Plaza in Boca Raton, the driver of this Kia with Florida plate FBH-K61 apparently can’t read. That sign in front of the K5 says “NO PARKING, FIRE LANE.”

Our winner this week? That’s easy and should be obvious to regulars readers of the Boca Rudeton column. It’s not a specific person but a place. And that place is Boca Raton Town Center Mall. Now one of the grossest places in in South Florida, the Boca Raton Town Center Mall continues its never ending trek from mediocrity to complete and total irrelevance. From police lockdowns to dogs where they shouldn’t be, it’s really just a question now of how long Boca Raton Town Center Mall will continue to be a shopping center instead of condos. Until then, we present Simon Property Group with this beautiful image crafted by Google Gemini. It can be framed and hung in the SPG headquarters.

A Google Gemini crafted image that can be framed and hung in the Simon Property Group’s headquarters. Congrats, SPG! High quality mall.
