BOYNTON BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A massive search is underway off the coast of Boynton Beach and Manalapan for anyone who may have been on a boat that was found overturned.

Rescuers from Boynton Beach and Palm Beach County are in the area as of 10:30 a.m., trying to determine exactly what they have found. The United States Coast Guard has also been notified and is moving a crew into the area. The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office also has divers in the water.

No people were immediately found. It is possible that the boat has been in the water for quite some time. It’s believed the boat drifted from the Manalapan area towards Boynton Beach, roughly 400 yards off shore.
