At Least One Person Hospitalized Following Impact. Airbags Deployed.
BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A crash Sunday afternoon at the intersection of Jog Road and Glades Road slowed traffic and sent at least one person to the hospital.
The crash, reported around 2:08 p.m. to emergency dispatchers, looked far more serious than it was. One person was transported to an area hospital with what we are told are minor injuries, while another person decided they didn’t need treatment at all.
While the people were largely okay, their vehicles were not. The scene remained a mess around 3:35 p.m. Expect significant traffic issues in the area throughout the afternoon.
The images, above, show that the impact was so strong that airbags in both vehicles deployed.
A BocaNewsNow.com reader sent his photo well after the crash, showing that traffic remained challenging in the area as police and fire rescue workers cleaned up the scene.
