PALM BEACH COUNTY, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — At least two people were critically injured in shootings Monday afternoon. The victims were being airlifted to St. Mary’s Medical Center just before 5:45 p.m.
Very preliminary information received by BocaNewsNow.com indicates that both victims were shot in South Bay around 5:15 p.m. Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Deputies rushed to the scenes. It was not immediately clear if the shootings and scenes are related.
At least one victim was rushed to Lakeside Medical Center in Belle Glade where Trauma Hawk then flew the victim to St. Mary’s. It’s unclear if the second victim was first transported to Lakeside or immediately loaded into a Trauma Hawk chopper — from the shooting scene — for transport.
Sources with very preliminary information tell BocaNewsNow.com that one of the victims was shot in the back, the second in the lower stomach.
