UPDATE: Child Was Left Alone With Coach For Tennis Lesson.
BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — The alleged victim of a Boca Raton tennis coach arrested for sexual assault on a minor is a six year old girl. She was allegedly orally penetrated by the coach in a storage area. Her parent/guardian had left her alone with the 18-year-old during a lesson in January.
As BocaNewsNow.com previously reported, Cemal Kaya of Boca Vue Drive in Boca Raton was taken into custody on Friday by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office. He’s accused of putting his private part in her mouth and is officially charged with sexual assault on a child under 12 by person over the age of 18, and lewd and lascivious behavior by someone over 18 upon someone under 16.
The incident took place at what is described as a “Tennis Academy” in the greater Boca Raton area. According to information reviewed by BocaNewsNow.com, the child normally takes part in group lessons but no other child attended due to the extreme cold on the day of the lesson. The alleged victim’s parent or guardian, however, left the six year old with Cemal Kaya and left the facility.
When questioned, Kaya claimed he gave the six year old a piece of gum, but did not perpetrate a sexual act. He is being held without bond in the Palm Beach County Jail.
