BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Saquella Cafe is accused of what can best be described as “Coffee Fraud.” A coffee supplier says Saquella hasn’t paid for thousands of dollars in high-end equipment and espresso supplies, and is now using another brand’s coffee in the machine. LaRocca International Coffee, Inc. just filed a lawsuit in Palm Beach County against Saquella Cafe Boca, LLC.
According to the complaint filed by the Miami-based Levey Law Firm and obtained by BocaNewsNow.com, LaRocca claims it provided the café with professional-grade equipment—including a Casadio espresso grinder and a Fiskorint group machine—strictly for brewing LaRocca coffee products. The supplier alleges that Saquella Cafe not only terminated the contract in July 2024 but kept the equipment and used it to prepare rival coffee brands. Under the terms of the deal, that move triggered a mandatory purchase, leaving the café on the hook for a $10,500 equipment bill.
LaRocca also claims that the café has ignored a stack of bills for actual coffee goods delivered throughout early 2024. The supplier claims that Saquella accepted the goods without objection but hasn’t paid the outstanding invoices of $7,170 for those supplies.
LaRocca is seeking a total of $17,670 in compensatory damages. The lawsuit also seeks 18% annual interest, court costs, and attorney’s fees. No court date has yet been set, and Saquella has not yet filed a response to the lawsuit. Saquella is located at 410 Via De Palmas in Boca Raton.
