BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — The owner of a home in Stonebridge Country Club is in the Palm Beach County Jail Saturday morning following his arrest by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.

Lawrence Martin Salovin of the 10200 block of Spyglass Way was taken into custody Friday afternoon. He was booked into jail around 10 p.m.

While the arrest report continues to be processed early Saturday, BocaNewsNow.com has learned that Salovin is facing a felony battery charge and a second charge of property damage/criminal mischief. Bond was set at $5,000 for the damage/mischief charge, but NO BOND was set for the felony battery charge.

It was not immediately clear who Salovin is accused of battering or why. There is no indication through initial charging information that this was a “domestic” battery — a charge we do not routinely report. We are awaiting an update from the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.
