Hundreds Of Flights Cancelled Monday At MIA, FLL, PBI.

UPDATE at 2:50 p.m. — The cancellation numbers are holding across the region as most flights were preemptively axed early this morning. Lots of people are “stranded” at airports in the region. Airlines are not responsible lodging or food when delays or cancellations are weather-related.
BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — The massive winter storm hitting a huge part of the northeast Monday is causing major flight problems nationwide. As of 6 a.m. FlightAware reports that 5,587 flights have already been cancelled, with 8,484 delays already logged.
At Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, 189 flights have already been axed, with JetBlue, Spirit, United, and Delta leading the pack. At least 17 flights have already been delayed.
At Palm Beach International Airport, 120 flights are already canceled with JetBlue, Delta United, and American topping the list. Just a handful of flights have been delayed — as most flights affected by the storm are just being cancelled altogether.
At Miami International Airport, 139 flights are not flying so far today — with American, Delta, United, and Spirit topping the list. The delayed list is just 18. Most flights affected by the storm are not flying at all.
