BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A night out at “The Meat Market” ended in a felony arrest after a woman allegedly walked off with a high-end designer purse. Sandra Beatriz Friedle, 46, of Boca Raton, was taken into custody by the Boca Raton Police Department following an investigation into a theft that occurred earlier this month at 2000 NW 19th Street. Cops say the incident centered on a black Chanel flap bag valued at over $7,000 that vanished while the owner was socializing in the bar area.

According to an arrest report reviewed by BocaNewsNow.com, surveillance footage from the night of February 4th captured a woman in a white dress seated near the designer bag. Investigators say the video clearly shows the suspect opening the purse, looking through its contents—even trying on a pair of reading glasses found inside—before placing them back. A short time later, the woman allegedly stood up, grabbed the Chanel bag, and walked out of the restaurant without making any attempt to find the owner or alert staff.

Detectives tracked down a witness who had been chatting with the woman that evening and provided her phone number. When an officer called Friedle to discuss the matter, she reportedly made a spontaneous admission, asking, “If this is about a purse,” before claiming she was simply holding it for a friend. Despite her claim, detectives noted in the arrest report that she remained in possession of the stolen goods for about a week without trying to return them, even though the victim’s driver’s license was inside the bag the entire time.

Friedle, an aesthetic nurse who resides in the Preserve community, was arrested on February 19th and charged with Grand Theft of property valued between $5,000 and $10,000. She was processed at the Boca Raton Police Department and subsequently transported to the Palm Beach County Jail where she was later released on $5,000 bond. A court date is pending.
