Blue Anchor Ordered Closed Again, 12th Time Since December

DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — There is clearly a problem at the Blue Anchor Pub in Delray Beach. The restaurant, once a hotspot of tourists and local alike at 804 East Atlantic Avenue, has been shut down at least twelve times by health inspectors since early December. The restuarant owners are also being sued by the landlord for eviction.

The latest closure order was issued on March 2nd. Per BocaNewsNow.com policy, the following is the list of violations as logged with the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation. We do NOT edit these entries:

Approximately 70 rodent droppings underneath shelf,reach in coolers, cooking equipment at kitchen. 20 rodent droppings underneath dish machine and three compartments sink . 13 droppings underneath another 3 compartment sink by the exit door. Approximately 13 rodent droppings under cook line. 3 rodent droppings on soda box behind bar. Approximately 10 rodent droppings on floor under bar ice bin. 2 rodent droppings under bar cash register. Approximately 7 rodent droppings on clean glassware shelf by expo line. Approximately 10 rodent droppings in bus bins by expo line. Approximately 40 rodent droppings on floor in dry storage room. Approximately 10 rodent droppings in boxes containing soufflé cups.
