BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Republican voters outnumbered Democratic voters across much of Boca Raton and nearby vicinities — at least that’s the takeaway as of 4 p.m. based on data obtained from the Palm Beach County Clerk of Courts. We are publishing the following data NOT as a definitive look at today’s election, but as an indicator as to who is doing what and where.

We expect real numbers after 7 p.m., at which point we should know whether or not the plan to “revitalize” the City of Boca Raton will move forward. The same is true with a new City of Boca Raton police department.

Boca Raton & Delray Beach Highlights

In the Boca-Delray corridor, the Republican party carried the majority of Election Day in-person voting, though certain communities remained deep blue.

  • Republican Strongholds: Sites like Ascension Catholic Church (54.15% GOP) and Boca Raton Downtown Library (52.78% GOP) showed significant Republican margins.
  • Democratic Pockets: Broken Sound Club (45.82% Dem) and Woodfield Country Club (43.54% Dem) bucked the local trend, favoring Democratic candidates.
  • Delray Turnout: Pompey Park was a major hub for Democratic voters (54.95%), while Veterans Park leaned Republican (43.95%).

Independent and unaffiliated voters represent a massive swing block in Palm Beach County. Several locations saw NPA turnout near or exceeding 30%, which often decides the local margin:
