BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A Silver Alert has been issued for a 83-year-old Boca Raton woman who was last seen traveling through North Florida. The Florida Department of Law Enforcement and local authorities are asking for the public’s help in locating Catherine Kangadis, who was reported missing from her home in Palm Beach County.

Kangadis was last spotted on Sunday, March 15, 2026, driving northbound on I-95 in the Saint Augustine area. Officials describe her as a white female, approximately 5’ 05” tall and weighing 175 pounds. She has black hair and hazel eyes. While her destination remains unknown, the alert was triggered due to concerns for her safety and well-being.

Investigators believe Kangadis is traveling in a silver 2021 Hyundai Sonata. The vehicle is identifiable by its Florida specialty license plate, which features a blue wave design and the tag number CAT42.

Authorities are urging anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Catherine Kangadis to take immediate action.
