UPDATE: A representative of the pizza restaurant says despite his name being the same as the restaurant name, Joseph is not an owner but an operations manager.
BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — An owner of Frank and Joe’s Pizza at 199 West Palmetto Park Road in Boca Raton is facing a battery charge after he allegedly pushed a vendor to the ground.
Joseph Colasacco — who lives on East Camino Real — was taken into custody on Thursday by Boca Raton Police. A customer claimed that Colasacco injured his arm and leg after engaging in an argument with the man.
Colasacco told police it didn’t happen. But video recorded by the store’s surveillance system apparently told a different story. Police say it showed Colasacco pushing the victim to the ground during what police called the “heated argument.”

Joseph Colasacco was taken into custody and charged with one count of battery on a person 65 years of age or older. He was booked into jail and released the following day on his own recognizance. A court date is pending.
