BROWARD COUNTY, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — JetBlue (is growing again at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) with a major service expansion announced today. The airline, which already serves as FLL’s largest carrier, is introducing new daily service to Cleveland, Ohio, and significantly increasing flight frequencies across nine other popular routes. This growth marks a milestone for the airline, which has launched service to 21 cities and added nearly 32 daily departures from Fort Lauderdale in just the past year.

The centerpieces of this expansion are the new daily flights to Cleveland (CLE), scheduled to begin on July 8, 2026. Beyond the new Ohio connection, JetBlue is increasing flights to several markets. Major hubs like Atlanta, Newark, and Philadelphia will see an increase to four, four, and three daily flights respectively. Meanwhile, vacation seekers will benefit from added weekly frequencies to Caribbean hotspots including Aruba, St. Maarten, and Santo Domingo, all set to take effect by July 9.

Daniel Shurz, JetBlue’s senior vice president of revenue, network, and enterprise planning, emphasized that the move is a direct response to passenger demand. “These latest additions reflect our ongoing strategy to build an undeniably strong and relevant network in Fort Lauderdale,” Shurz stated. He noted that the goal is to provide South Florida customers with more flexibility and a more connected network, particularly for those traveling through the United States, Latin America, and the Caribbean.

Travelers on the new routes will continue to have access to JetBlue’s standard amenities, including seatback entertainment, complimentary snacks, and free “Fly-Fi” internet. To celebrate the launch, the airline is offering a limited-time incentive for its loyalty members.
