Ben’s Kosher Deli in Boca Raton received mulitple violations during a recent inspection.

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — It’s trouble for Ben’s Kosher Deli at 9942 Clint Moore Road just days before the Passover holiday begins. The restaurant was cited by a health inspector for several health code violations. Ben’s, however, was NOT ordered to shut down.

High Priority – Time/temperature control for safety food cold held at greater than 41 degrees Fahrenheit. Observed at small fridge at front line ; hotdogs (47F); per operator food not prepared or portioned today. Per operator food held out of temperature for less than four hours. Intermediate – Handwash sink used for purposes other than handwashing. Observed a cup stored in front of handwashing sink. Operator removed. **Corrected On-Site**

Basic – Water leaking from pipe and/or faucet/handle. Observed leaking pipe underneath handwashing sink nat ware washing area.

Basic – Interior of oven/microwave has accumulation of black substance/grease/food debris. Observed microwave at cook line in kitchen soiled with food debris.

Basic – Ice scoop handle in contact with ice. Observed ice scoop handle in contact with ice. Operator removed. **Corrected On-Site**

Ben’s Kosher has had issues during inspections in January of this year and October of 2025. It was ordered closed for several issues in February of 2024. That closure lasted one day until an inspector verified fixes to the problems identified.
