PALM BEACH COUNTY, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A Palm Beach County woman with the last name of Toker is facing a felony drug charge after sheriff’s deputies say they found cocaine in her possession outside a West Palm Beach home improvement store. Brittany Lynn Toker, 32, was arrested March 28 at an area Lowe’s after deputies responded to a call about unwanted persons on the property.
According to a probable cause affidavit reviewed by BocaNewsNow.com, deputies were already on scene investigating several individuals when Toker approached and claimed ownership of a backpack that had been left nearby. A witness told deputies the bag actually belonged to another person at the scene, who in turn denied owning it and pointed back to Toker. Deputies searched the bag after conflicting accounts raised safety concerns, and say they found a small baggie containing a white powdery substance that field-tested positive for cocaine.
A search of Toker’s personal bag turned up additional drug paraphernalia, including a crack pipe, a small crack cocaine rock, and two capsules containing a powdery substance — all of which field-tested positive for cocaine. The total weight of the cocaine recovered was approximately 0.18 grams. While in custody, Toker began losing consciousness and told deputies she was tired. Palm Beach County Fire Rescue transported her to JFK Medical Center, where she was medically cleared before being booked into the Palm Beach County Main Jail.

Toker was charged with one count of Possession of a Controlled Substance Without a Prescription Her bond was set at $500. We note that charges are accusations; defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
