PALM BEACH COUNTY, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A Boca Raton man was critically injured Thursday morning in a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Southern Boulevard and Avocado Avenue in West Palm Beach, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.

The crash occurred at approximately 9:52 a.m. when a 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe, driven by Janusz Biskupek, 59, of Boca Raton, was traveling south on Avocado Avenue approaching Southern Boulevard (SR-80). A 2018 Acura RDX, driven by Jordan Ferguson, 23, of Boynton Beach, was traveling west on Southern Boulevard in the outside right lane approaching the intersection. For an undetermined reason, Biskupek made a westbound turn into the path of Ferguson’s vehicle. The front of the Acura struck the driver’s side doors of the Tahoe.

Following the collision, the Acura was redirected in a southwest direction, struck the median, and was redirected again westbound. The vehicle continued north, mounted the curb, and struck a guardrail, coming to an uncontrolled stop facing north. The Tahoe was redirected westbound, rotated, and came to an uncontrolled final rest facing northwest in the center lanes.

BocaNewsNow.com has learned that both drivers were transported to St. Mary’s Medical Center. Biskupek was listed in critical condition with life-threatening injuries. Ferguson sustained serious injuries. PBSO continues to investigate. No charges have been filed.
