BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A family dispute over South Florida real estate has moved into the Palm Beach County Circuit Court as a New York woman sues her own relatives to force the sale of a Boynton Beach condominium. Lauren Reisner filed the lawsuit against David, Daniel, and Paul Reisner, as well as the estate of Murray D. Reisner, claiming the defendants are refusing to honor a 2021 agreement to hand over the title to a unit in the Coral Cove Condominiums.
The legal battle centers on a property located at 5777 Gemstone Court, which was originally owned by Murray D. Reisner before his passing in early 2021. According to court documents, Lauren Reisner alleges that in May 2021, David, Daniel, and Paul Reisner agreed to sell her their collective interests in the home for a total of $150,000. While Lauren claims she has already paid each of the three defendants $50,000, she alleges they have since failed to cooperate with the legal proceedings necessary to officially transfer the deed.
The complaint stems from a stalled probate process spanning from New York to Florida. Lauren and Paul Reisner originally served as executors of the estate in the Bronx until their resignation in October 2025, at which point David and Daniel Reisner were set to take over as administrators. The lawsuit alleges that despite the change in leadership, the defendants have intentionally and maliciously refused to execute the proper deeds prepared for the Boynton Beach property, leaving the title in legal limbo.
Lauren Reisner is now asking the court for “specific performance,” which would legally compel her relatives to finish the sale as agreed. In the alternative, she is seeking a judgment for breach of contract, including $150,000 in compensatory damages and an additional $300,000 in punitive damages. The plaintiff, represented by the law firm Anzalone & Leschins, is also seeking the recovery of all legal fees and costs associated with the filing.
