UPDATE at 7:57 p.m. — Palm Beach County Fire Rescue shared this update with BocaNewsNow.com: “At approximately 18:18 PBCFR Units were dispatched to the 200 block of Mansfield G for a reported high rise structure fire. Upon arrival, crews found smoke coming from an apartment. Crews were able to quickly extinguish the fire as well as search surrounding residents. Nobody on-scene requested transport. The cause of the fire is under investigation.”

BocaNewsNow.com has learned that roughly 15 units from Palm Beach County Fire Rescue rushed to the scene at 261 Mansfield G around 6:18 p.m. this evening. The huge response is commonplace for a fire in a facility like Century Village
Firefighters found smoke and apparently a small fire. They immediately extinguished the fire started venting the smoke. There were no reports of injuries.
