Chase Kellerman Charged, Jailed By Broward Sheriff’s Office.

BROWARD COUNTY, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2024 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A Pompano Beach man turned himself into the Broward Sheriff’s Office after allegedly hitting and killing a pedestrian in Deerfield Beach. The Broward Sheriff’s Office shared this narrative of what they believe led to the death of Jermaine Arguinzoni.
According to detectives with BSO’s Traffic Homicide Unit, just after midnight on Sunday, Feb. 4, a 2012 Chevrolet Silverado was traveling southbound on South Federal Highway in the left thru lane and struck a male pedestrian crossing the roadway in an undesignated crosswalk area. Following the impact, the vehicle left the scene of the crash.
BSO deputies and Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue responded, and the pedestrian, identified as Jermaine Arguinzoni, was pronounced deceased on the scene.
On Monday, Feb. 5, Chase Kellerman went to the BSO District Office in Deerfield Beach to report a crash. It was determined that Kellerman was the driver of the Chevrolet Silverado that struck Arguinzoni. Kellerman was taken to the BSO Main Jail and faces the charge of leaving the scene of an accident involving death.
