BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2024 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A Boca Raton man allegedly posted death threats against several Palm Beach County Judges to Facebook. John Mandia of 1560 SW 64th Way is now in jail — being held without bond.
BocaNewsNow.com obtained the police report with the explicit threats he allegedly posted against Judges Suskauer and Scherr.
“On 2/26/2024 I was instructed to follow-up on an active threat investigation involving a subject named John Mandia, who had made a Facebook post expressing his desire to kill/do bodily harm to several judges and prosecutors in Palm Beach County. A concerned citizen reported to law enforcement that today, at approximately 12:50pm, Facebook account holder “John Mandia” posted the following to his Facebook page: Mandia: “Yo. What happened to Trump happened to me first… Yo lets go kill some judges and prosecutors and (in) Palm Beach I’m coming and you can’t do a f-ing thing about it” In an effort to gather more information, an interview was conducted with (two people) who expressed significant concerns and elaborated about Mandia’s criminal history, and possible substance abuse issues. Further research revealed that Mandia had also made a post a few weeks earlier, on 1/15/2024, which expressed his desire to kill Judge Suskauer and Judge Scher.
The post stated, in part: “I did 2 yrs in prison… My ex-wife lied, and ABUSED THE LAWS OF FLORIDA..” ” … THEY THEW ME IN PRISON BECAUSE THE ALMIGHTY JUDGE WAS INSULTED I MADE THAT TEXT… YO JUDGE… I KNOW WHERE YOU LIVE… YOU BETTER HAVE YOUR HEAD ON A SWIVEL BECAUSE THIS RANGER IS COMING FOR YOU!!!!!!!* That threat was made in reference to the domestic violence injunction case that was presided over by the Honorable Judge Scher. Mandia subsequently violated that Court Order and was arrested, resulting in a felony convictlon for aggravated stalking, which was presided over by the Honorable Judge Suskauer and prosecuted by ASA M. Wilson. In response to Mandia’s past on 1/15/24, Facebook user “Lisa” replied “Be careful my friend. You may land up back In prison for threatening a judge. People are stupid,” Mandia replied: “thanks… but at this point I just want to sheld] light on this and go public…” « … I’m 54 and lived the life of an 80 yr old… so I’ll go down In that blaze of glory If necessary but that f-ing Judge took (my] life away …”
Facebook User “Lisa” replied: I get it. I am sorry you went through this….”
Mandia replied back: “…my kids live 5 miles away I pay 1300 in child support… I had no due process in my divorce proceedings because I was incarcerated and got divorced in jail without attending any court hearing… and “…I’m ready to die… for this, my cause!!! Yo Judge, I’m coming and you can’t hide mother f-er!!!!!!!”
Mandia also posted another reply, in which he stated: “…..it’s bullsxxt because she (ex-wife had legal aid society represent her plus prosecutor, and judge all in her…. My attornies never seen anything like it… so yeah I don’t have a problem hunting that judge and prosecutor down…”
In a statement provided by (two people), the Facebook profile identified above belongs to that of John Mandia. Additionally, the facts and circumstances described in the threats were specific to Mandia and his court cases. John Mandia’s social media posts appear to be escalating in nature and aggression, culminating in his threat to take action in today’s post. Based on that to the lives of the Judge(s) and Assistant State Attorney, an exigency request was submitted to Facebook for records to identify subscriber information and last known IP address that the subscriber was connected to, in an effort to ensure the safety of the potential victims by determining the proximity of said IP addresses to the victims). The results of the request identified the user as John Mandia, with the same date of birth and demographics as the suspect. Unfortunately, the IP address last identified was unable to provide a specific address associated to its connection point.
Based on my investigation, as outlined above, specifically his threat to take the “judge’s life” and “hunt down” the judge(s) and prosecutor in his case(s), I find probable cause exists that John Mandia was in violation of three counts of FSS 836.10(2)(a) – Written Threats to Kill/Do Bodily Harm.”
Mandia was taken into custody on Tuesday. He remains locked up Wednesday morning.

What does the suspect’s alleged political affiliation have to do with threatening judges over his own personal case? It would be like calling out suspects in Kings Point arrests as Biden voters, considering that has been a Democrat voting bloc stronghold of a now dwindling majority in the county.
The threat itself mentions Trump. Should Boca News Now censor the suspects posts so that no MAGA feelings get hurt?
Looks like you maggots are the ones who can’t stand to listen to things you don’t agree with. Talk about thin skin.
All he did was mention Trump in comparison to his prosecution.
