Marvin Perez-Lopez Allegedly Entered U.S. Illegally.

PALM BEACH COUNTY, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2024 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A man identified as an “illegal” by police is in custody Monday, charged with kidnap and sexual assault of a minor. The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office issued this statement to BocaNewsNow.com about the arrest of Marvin Perez-Lopez:
“On Saturday, May 4, 2024, suspect, Marvin Perez Lopez, an illegal from Guatemala, was arrested for Kidnapping a Minor under 13 years of age and sexual assault.
Through the investigation detectives learned that Marvin Perez Lopez left Guatemala in early January, crossed through Mexico, turned himself in to Border Patrol and was given a court date for some time in 2027 and released. He found his way to Florida the end of January 2024.
Marvin Perez Lopez is currently being held in the PBC Jail on no bond.”
If he was “released, after getting a court date (albeit 3 years later), why is he illegal? Was he ordered to leave the country until the court date?
Not please with his presence here, but fail to understand the “illegal” determination.
The last time I checked, it is unlawful to enter the United States or remain here on an expired visa. “Catch and release” has always been a blatant, intentional disregard of enforcing the law with an underlying agenda. Send this savage hogtied in a box back to Guatemala , and make them deal with it, because they sure as hell haven’t when emptying entire jails and prisons into the U.S. and other countries.
Immediate deportation should be in effect immediately. Isn’t that the Governors stance?
His name should appear in all Government accessed sites as to NO entrance ever again in this country. He won’t be the last one I’m afraid. Thanks to Bidens open border policies no one is safe. Our country isn’t safe.
In light of the political agendas regarding border security being discussed at this time, how important was it for the headline to read “Illegal” charged with kidnapping? Is it relevant to the story or is it more of a headline-grabbing description of a man, whatever his status, who committed a crime? I feel it really only adds to the narrative the former president is trying to instill in people in order to label these people as “vermin, rapists, and murderers.”

I agree with Kay. Yes, the police inflamed the divisive narrative (probably intentionally). However, BocaNewNow propagated it, thereby is complicit in the stoking the flames. Now that the person has been arrested and charged, it’s time to prosecute him and hopefully harshly be punished…..and I don’t mean deportation, since obviously these people are still getting back into the country —- illegally.
Put more resources on our borders!!!!! Fund it with a SUBSTANTIAL tax on money WIRE TRANSFERS TO NON-US LOCATIONS!
