Police just nabbed a suspect on I-95 in Delray Beach. Traffic is at a near standstill. (FDOT).

UPDATE: As of 5 p.m., traffic is starting to move again. Congestion continues.

DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2024 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — I-95 northbound is crawling from Boca Raton to Atlantic Avenue in Delray Beach following a police chase that just ended around 3:40 p.m.

We have no specifics at this point, but traffic cameras show the slowdown building back to near Palmetto Park Road. It appears to be a Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office investigation.

Expect delays to continue into rush hour. Bad weather is making the situation worse.
