Flight Delays, Cancellations Continue At FLL, PBI, And MIA Day After Massive Computer Glitch

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2024 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Flight delays and cancellations continue Saturday at Palm Beach International Airport, Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, and Miami International Airport, a day after a worldwide computer glitch led to ground stops.

At Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International, at least 75 delays were reported Saturday around 4 p.m., with 18 flights canceled. Spirit, Delta, JetBlue and United were the hardest hit at FLL.

At Palm Beach International Airport, 42 delays were reported around 4 p.m. with 19 cancellations. Delta, American, Silver, and JetBlue were the hardest hit at PBI Saturday.

At Miami International Airport, 219 flights were reported delayed Saturday around 4 p.m, with 34 flights canceled. American leads the delay pack with 140 on record, followed by Delta and United. For cancellations, Delta topped the list at MIA with Bahamasair, Spirit, United, Virgin, and American Airlines also on the list.
