DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2024 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Another resident of the Kings Point Delray Beach senior living community is facing criminal charges in Palm Beach County. It’s the 18th arrest of a Kings Point resident during the 2024 calendar year, and the 38th arrest of a Kings Point Delray Beach resident since the start of 2023.

The latest: Saeid Bavi. The 59-year-old was taken into custody by the Delray Beach Police Department Wednesday morning. He is facing two charges: “disorderly conduct — brawling, fighting, corrupt public moral decency;” and “resisting an officer without violence.” Bond was set at $1250. He posted bond. A court date is pending.

It was unclear Thursday morning where Bavi was arrested or what he is specifically accused of doing. The arrest report continues to be processed. We do know that he was booked into the Palm Beach County at 9:31 a.m. Wednesday morning and released on bond just before 5 p.m the same day.

Kings Point, which BocaNewsNow.com’s unofficial records suggest is the senior living community with more alleged criminals than any other senior living community in South Palm Beach County, has seen its residents charged with sexual battery, non sexual battery, assault, weapons violations, drug violations, threat dissemination, child abuse, and more.

  1. Yes, this title is VERY insulting to the thousands of owners/residents here at King’s Point. I have not been arrested, neither has my wife, nor any of the other owners/residents in our section.

This “news organization” is just another prejudicial hack job. Modern-day “Yellow Journalism”.

So, here is my question: Do you have any testicular fortitude, or do you merely hide behind your warped view of a “free press”?

    1. Good to know. Thanks for keeping us informed. Again, we merely asked if anyone hasn’t been arrested in Kings Point and we appreciate your response.

  2. In 2020 there were 12,207 residents living in 7,200 units in Kings Point. Probably more now. With 38 arrests since 2023, there were 12,169 who have not been arrested. That’s 99.69% who have NOT been arrested. Your question is answered.

  3. I was in 2021. When I moved into kp. At 64 1st driving issue. DUI. Not KP fault. U have a hard on for this place. 7300 units. 7300 I say. That’s a lot of people. Stop slamming the place and just report without your snide comments
