DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2024 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Kings Point resident Eric Oliver is the latest resident of the Delray Beach senior living community to be cuffed and jailed by police. Oliver, significantly younger than the typical Kings Point resident at just 36, remains in the Palm Beach County Jail early Tuesday morning.
Oliver, of the Tuscany B section of Kings Point, was taken into custody by the Boca Raton Police Department Monday night. He is being held on the odd bond of $60,500. Court records reviewed by BocaNewsNow.com indicate that he is being held on an “out of county warrant.” The Florida Department of Law Enforcement’s warrant system is not showing where that warrant — if accurate — was issued.
Jail Records indicate that Oliver was taken into custody within the city limits of Boca Raton Monday evening and booked into the Palm Beach County Jail at 8:33 p.m. It was not clear what led police to Oliver, or where he was apprehended.
Oliver joins the list of alleged criminals using Kings Point Delray Beach as a residential address and ending up in the Palm Beach County Jail. He is the 21st Kings Point resident to be arrested during the 2024 calendar year and the 41st since the start of 2023. Among the crimes allegedly committed by Kings Point residents: drug possession and distribution, physical and sexual assault, battery, weapons offenses, child abuse, and more.
BocaNewsNow.com’s unofficial records indicate that more Kings Point Delray Beach Beach residents are arrested than residents of any other senior living community in South Palm Beach County.
