DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2024 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A popular restaurant in Delray Marketplace was ordered closed by a health inspector reporting to the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation after roaches, roach excrement, and other allegedly obvious health violations were found during a recent inspection. Terra Fiamma at 9169 West Atlantic Avenue in Delray Beach was permitted to reopen two days after the ordered closure.

High Priority – Roach excrement and/or droppings present. Observed accumulation of roach excrement inside of 4 way electrical outlet box directly next to steam table on cook line in kitchen. **Warning**
High Priority – Roach activity present as evidenced by live roaches found. Observed approximately 4 live roaches inside of 4 way electrical outlet box directly next to steam table on cook line in kitchen. Observed 2 live roaches on chemical holder under triple sink in ware washing area **Warning**

Basic – Dead roaches on premises. Observed approximately 5 dead roaches roaches inside of 4 way electrical outlet box directly next to steam table on cook line in kitchen. Observed 2 dead roaches on ground under salad line flip top cooler in kitchen. Observed 1 dead roach on ground under prep sink in prep area in kitchen **Warning**
Basic – Ceiling/ceiling tiles/vents soiled with accumulated food debris, grease, dust, or mold-like substance. Observed above cook line **Warning**
Terra Fiamma was inspected on August 14, 2024 which is when it was ordered closed by a health inspector. The restaurant was reinspected on August 16th when the following violations were recorded, but the restaurant was permitted to reopen. Again, these violations are unedited:
