UPDATE @ 8:41 a.m. — The Palm Beach County School District issued a very short statement, providing a robocall transcript sent to parents this morning. We have posted it at the end of the report.

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2024 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Parents of students at Whispering Pines Elementary School tell BocaNewsNow.com that they are increasingly fearful of a parent who — for more than a year — has been posting comments perceived as both Anti-Semitic and threatening. At least some of the comments specifically mention Whispering Pines Elementary — a Palm Beach County Public School near Lyons and Clint Moore Road.

BocaNewsNow.com has been following the accusations against the man identified through his own social media posts as Chirag Patel. No charges have been filed against Patel. He has been convicted of nothing. There are no criminal proceedings against him. But parents discussing the matter with BocaNewsNow.com, requesting anonymity fearing retribution against their children, say the Palm Beach County School District and Whispering Pine’s Principal Barbara Riemer are not doing enough to resolve what they say is a growing threat from a man who speaks of violence and a hate of Jewish people. The man has a student in the school.

In one post, above, Patel writes: “My first kill was at Whispering Pines Elementary School a bird with one shot of sling shot. We would practice our aim with bottles. I felt bad that I took from god and we buried the bird. The man hunter crew, man hunt is a kids game. At least Obama didn’t shot his reported friend like Dick Cheney did hunting.” While the post discusses a bid that Patel allegedly killed on the school property, several parents say it’s a threat against students.

In another post, also above, Patel writes: “Israel provides pedophiles paradise Jewish culture. Hebrew is read right to left, backwards, because are backwards people…” Among other posts: “The devil uses the same tricks as the Jews,” “What the Jew monopoly military cult fears is kids with abilities to become doctors one day.”

Principal Riemer, in a letter obtained by BocaNewsNow.com and published in part below, told Patel that all visits to the school campus must be coordinated through her office in advance. But multiple parents say that Patel continues to appear on campus. They are frustrated that Riemer apparently is not calling police when he is seen on campus. The Palm Beach School District’s Media Relations office did not respond to questions posed about this issue Sunday evening.

Patel, in his Facebook account that appeared to be temporarily disabled early Monday, had posted video of an interaction with what appears to be a Palm Beach County School District police officer. That officer suggested that he tone it down but did not arrest Patel. Writing about that — or potentially a separate interaction — Patel said this: “Whispering Pines principal decided to send officer Alvarez to harass me. Officer Alvarez wants to know what was so tough about growing up in Boca. Can hear the Italian Jews they ask you how many people die in the holocaust if you don’t say 6 million when you’re a kid at that time they punch you in the face let’s do the same treatment. How many Indians (Brown People) did you white people (British) starve to death over 40 years through your system of supremacy in India, trading America dollars.”

Several parents say the situation is worsening and they fear that there is a fine line between threatening social media posts and actual violence. They are calling on the Palm Beach County School District to take immediate, decisive action. However, law enforcement sources say Patel’s comments, while perceived by many as offensive, may not cross the legal line from “freedom of speech” to actual threat.

UPDATE: Here is the robocall sent to parents this morning, according to a school district spokesperson: “Good morning Whispering Pines Elementary School parents, guardians, and staff. We take the safety and security of students seriously. This morning, you will see an increased police presence around campus out of an abundance of caution. The safety of our school community remains our top priority. Thank you for your support of Whispering Pines Elementary School.”
