BOYNTON BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2024 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A woman is dead following a two car crash on Boynton Beach Boulevard. The crash occurred around 9:40 a.m. on September 1st. Victim Kathryn Remini died from injuries sustained in the crash on Wednesday.

According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, “a Hyundai Accent driven by Remini was making a left turn from El Clair Ranch Road to travel westbound onto Boynton Beach Blvd. A Hyundai Sonata driven by Cadens Tius, 34, was traveling eastbound on Boynton Beach Blvd. approaching the red traffic signal at El Clair Ranch Road. Tius failed to stop at the red traffic signal and the front of the Sonata struck the front left of Remini’s Accent.”

“The Accent was redirected clockwise and came to final rest facing eastbound in the intersection. The Sonata came to final rest facing eastbound in the westbound lane,” according to police.

Both Kathryn Remini and passenger George Remini were transported to Bethesda East for injuries sustained in the crash. Kathryn Remini, 75, was treated until she died on Wednesday. No charges have been filed. The investigation continues. Kathryn lived on Royal Isles Blvd. in Boynton Beach.
