PALM BEACH COUNTY, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2024 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A man was stabbed to death around 7:15 p.m. Saturday in the 6100 block of Oak Royal Drive in Lake Worth. The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office late Sunday afternoon says a suspect is now in custody and charged with the murder.
PBSO tells BocaNewsNow.com that “Moslet Elmeus stabbed the adult male, a person known to him.” It was not immediately clear what led to the altercation, or whether the victim was dead when police arrived on the scene or if he died in a hospital later. We do know that Elmeus is officially charged with “homicide — murder in the first degree premeditated,” and “obstructing justice — tamper with evidence in a capital felony criminal proceeding.”

Elmeus is being held in the Palm Beach County Jail without bond. He was booked into lockup around 3 a.m. Sunday. His home address is listed as the 6100 block of Oak Royal Drive, the same street as the killing location. With the exception of two traffic violations in December of 2024, Elmeus has no history — at all — with the Palm Beach County court system. No identity was released for the victim. Elmeus is expected in court for his first appearance on Monday morning.
