BOYNTON BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2024 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A Delray Beach man has died five days after a critical crash in Boynton Beach, according to the Palm beach County Sheriff’s Office. Travis Henry, 29, died on Sunday — just before 1 a.m.

According to PBSO, Solomon Carroll was driving southbound on State Road 7 — near Boynton Beach Blvd — in a Chevy 2500 pickup truck around noon on October 8th. Carroll was in the right lane. Investigators say, “the light had cycled green for southbound traffic and Travis Henry, in a Honda CRV, was northbound on SR7 and attempted to turn westbound onto Boynton Beach Blvd. As Henry attempted to turn westbound onto Boynton Beach Blvd, his Honda’s right side was impacted by the Chevy’s front.”

Adds PBSO: “The Honda and the Chevy were redirected southwest onto the shoulder. As the Chevy entered the shoulder it rolled, coming to rest upon its roof.”

Travis Henry was rushed to an area hospital where he was treated for several days. He was pronounced dead at 12:59 a.m. Sunday, October 13, 2024.
