Woman Told To Stay Away From Victim. Allegedly Didn’t.

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2024 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A resident of the Century Village senior living community in West Boca Raton is in jail Thursday morning, charged with violating a court order. Loretta Bramante was told to stay away from the manager of a store in Boca Raton Town Center Mall, but allegedly didn’t.
It all started back in 2017 — you read that correctly — when Bramante was accused of thefts at one of the major retail locations in Boca Raton Town Center Mall. Bramante, according to a lawsuit, was ordered to stay out of that specific store. That apparently didn’t sit well with Bramante, who was accused of threatening and harassing the manager. Court documents allege that Bramante threatened the manager in the store, out of the store, and by phone and computer. The manager sought a court order keeping Bramante away. That order was issued in 2022 with this language:
“Unless otherwise provided herein, Respondent shall have no contact with Petitioner. Respondent shall not directly or indirectly contact Petitioner in person, by mail, e-mail, fax, telephone, through another person, or in any other manner, including any electronic means or use of social media. Further, Respondent shall not contact or have any third party contact anyone connected with Petitioner’s employment or school to inquire about Petitioner or to send any messages to Petitioner.”
The order remains in effect into 2025. But jail records indicate that Bramante violated the order. She was arrested by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office Wednesday afternoon and booked into the Palm Beach County Jail. She remains held without bond early Thursday morning. The police report continues to be processed. We’ll update this article once we learn specifically how Bramante, 57, allegedly violated the court order. She lists unit in the Fanshaw section of Century Village Boca Raton as her home address.
