BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2024 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — The owner of a home in the Lake Estates sections of St. Andrews Country Club in Boca Raton is out of jail, following his Friday arrest by the Boca Raton Police Department. Michael Teitelbaum of the 17000 block of Lake Estates Drive in Boca is facing a DUI charge, according to jail and court records reviewed by BocaNewsNow.com.
While the arrest report continues to be processed Sunday morning, citations filed with the Palm Beach County Clerk of Courts indicate that Mr. Teitelbaum made what police b believe was an improper lane change in the 400 block of NW Spanish River Boulevard around 10 p.m. Friday. The allegedly improper lane change led to a traffic stop. The officer believed that Mr. Teitelbaum was under the influence of something at the time of the traffic stop.
While we know that Mr. Teitelbaum was driving a 2015 black Porsche at the time of the stop, we do not know specifically what happened during the field sobriety test, or the blood or breath alcohol content alleged by Boca Raton Police. The citation states that Mr. Teitelbaum was “unable to drive in a single lane” and that his license was suspended immediately.

Teitelbaum was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail at 1:31 a.m. Saturday morning and released just before 7 a.m. on $1000 bond. A court date is pending.
