UPDATE: 8:38 p.m. — PBSO just announced arrests:Morey S. Pinard III – 23 years old · 2 Counts of 2nd Degree Murder with a Firearm · 2 Counts of Attempted 2nd Degree Murder with a Firearm Michael B. Vititoe – 19 years old · Simple Battery · Accessory After the Fact – Homicide Both Pinard and Vititoe have been transported to the Palm Beach County Jail and booked on the charges above.

PALM BEACH COUNTY, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2024 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Two victims of Tuesday morning’s mass shooting in the bar and restaurant district of Lake Worth Beach have been identified. The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office tells BocaNewsNow.com that Christopher Allen, 31, and Steven Stratis, 24, were both killed in the 600 block of Lake Avenue. That’s where a total of four people were shot around 1 a.m. Tuesday. It’s just yards from popular restaurants and the Lake Worth Playhouse.

Here’s the information PBSO provided to BocaNewsNow.com early Tuesday: “PBSO deputies were dispatched to a shooting in the 600 block of Lake Ave, City of Lake Worth Beach. Upon arrival, they discovered four adult males suffering from gunshot wounds. Two victims were transported to a local hospital for treatment, one is in critical condition and the other is in stable condition and two males were pronounced deceased on scene.

The Violent Crimes Division is actively investigating this incident as a Shooting/Homicide. The preliminary investigation is believed that an altercation occurred inside the establishment resulting in the shooting. No suspect information to share.
