APPARENT SECURITY BREACH AT THE OAKS. CHOPPER, COPS SEEK SUSPECT.

UPDATE: As of 5:45 a.m., no arrests have been made regarding the overnight incident. We expect a full update later Thursday morning.
BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2024 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — We are aware of police activity on U.S. 441 in the area of The Oaks, Seven Bridges, Boca Bridges, and Saturnia Isles as of 10:15 p.m. Wednesday. A police chopper is hovering overhead. Multiple sources tell BocaNewsNow.com that someone “breached” security at The Oaks and may have committed a burglary or a robbery. This person, according to sources, may have ran the security gate at The Oaks to enter the community.
We are awaiting an official update from PBSO but we note this is an active scene so there may be no official information for quite some time, as cops try to figure out exactly what is going on.
We’ll update this post once we learn more. For now, we encourage residents of the communities on Lyons Road and U.S. 441 between Clint Moore and Atlantic to make sure alarms are on and doors are locked. Report any suspicious activity to PBSO by calling 911 or 561-688-3100.
