BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2024 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Two men, allegedly hiding from police, are seen in a swimming pool in Boca Bridges as a Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office helicopter hovers nearby. It’s the latest information in a bizarre story that BocaNewsNow.com first reported Wednesday night at cops converged on the area of Clint Moore Road and U.S. 441 — after an apparent security breach at “The Oaks.”
It all started around 10:15 p.m. when sources say two people on foot followed a car into The Oaks — a gated community with entrances on Clint Moore Road and U.S. 441. The two people ran through the gate as it opened for a car, then vanished into the community. That’s when security and others called police. PBSO responded with deputies and a chopper.

At some point during the search, the suspects allegedly made their way from The Oaks to Boca Bridges, a community to the north of The Oaks. The suspects seemingly climbed over the wall at The Oaks, made it through a canal, then climbed another wall to enter Boca Bridges which has “official” entrances on U.S. 441 and Lyons Road. Once in the community, the suspects were allegedly spotted on the video above. While we have been unable to independently confirm its authenticity, the images do appear to confirm the narrative we have heard from multiple sources.
The suspects, as you can see, went under water when it seems police may have approached. The suspects are then seen coming up for air and leaving the pool. Where they went is unclear. We have received no reports of arrests. The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office has not provided an official narrative of what happened as of 7 p.m. Thursday. That typically means no arrest report was processed.
